One interesting conspiracy theory that struck at the heart of Western music was discovered by me in my explorations of the dark side of the internet. It is believed that the fundamental frequencies of Western music have been deliberately shifted away from the sacred 6-tone solfeggio frequency scale to a more auspicious set.
There is a lot of information out there on this topic, but this post will give you a brief summary. It’s a fascinating journey of musical education, with a large bent of paranoia or new age thinking. It’s what I call “information.” It doesn’t matter if it’s true, it’s just interesting and fun. You’ll feel the exact same way.
What are the Solfeggio Frequencies
Solfege, also known as Solfeggio, is the most well-known educational method that we were all exposed to as children. It is used throughout the West, from elementary school to college, to teach which pitches correspond to the scales we use. It all revolves around:
- Do, Re. Mi, Fa. So, La. Ti
There is the “Fixed” that we learn as children that matches the C Major scale, and then there’s the “Movable” that we learn later that allows us to hear and sing the various intervals in other Major or Minor scales.
Although the origin of the 7-note diatonic scale remains a mystery, we know that it is related to the Arabic solmization system (same like solfeggio), and the Hindustani as well as Carnatic classical styles.
GUIDO OF AREZZO’S NOTATION SYSTEM
Here’s the best part. The system shown above is oldest and dates back to at least 1000 B.C. And more. We have then this Guido from Arezzo, who lived between circa 990 A.D. and 1030 A.D.
He was an Italian music historian who is credited with inventing the modern musical staff. The notation it uses replaces the outdated neume system which was hindering the learning process for all musicians.
According to legend, he was a monk who also studied music theory and saw the difficulty of learning the Gregorian chants. He devised a mnemonic system which works like this:
- Ut, Re. Mi. Fa. Sol.
This, along with his Guidonian hand systems, staff notation and hexachord scale made it so obvious that Pope John XIX invited him back to the Vatican to talk about it. We all started using the seven-note system we mentioned earlier…
The question is, “Why and how did it happen?”
The Development of Guido’s Solfeggio Frequencies
The conspiracy is basically that the conspirators claim those in power are trying discredit history to discredit the original solfeggio frequency frequencies. There’s a reason for this: they have spiritual and metaphysical power.
We know exactly where “Ut Re, Mi, Fa Sol, La” is from. We also know the origin of “Do, Re. Mi, Fa. Sol, La. Ti”. It is derived from Guido’s frequencies… but they are believed to be at least 2000 year old… We also know that the 7th note was created by Giovanni Battista Doni during the 16th century. People are skeptical about this whole thing.
Guido created his system to teach the monks to sight-read, hear pitches and manipulate intervals vocally while they sang the Gregorian chants. He was struck by the Ut quat laxis Latin hymn, which featured phrases that began on six notes in an order. As you can see, this is where the syllables come from.
It is possible to stylize the Latin stanza as follows, which highlights where solfeggio frequencies are from:
Ut queant laxis
Labii reatum, Sancte Iohannes.
Boom. It’s obvious and there are no questions. Here is the correct translation.
To enable your servants to resound the wonders and purify our stained lips, O Saint John, so that they may, with loose voices, sound the wonders of your works.
You can see the connection between the stanza and frequencies. These songs can be used to cleanse the body, basically thanks to John the Baptist’s power.
This Gregorian chant is shown in a Youtube video. This image also features the older neume system.
Fast forward 500 years and Giovanni Battista Doni decides that he doesn’t like the name “Ut”, and changes it to “Do” and suggests that “Sancte Iohannes” should be called “Si”, which is a seventh note on the scale. In the 1800’s, “Si” is changed to “Ti” by Sarah Glover, an English music teacher. She doesn’t like the fact that there are two S’s in “D, R. M. F. S, L. S.”
This is the accepted story, despite all the contradictions. This is the result:
Do let our voices
Resonate most purely,
Far is greater than most;
Let our tongues be
Lavish in your praises,
Saint John The Baptist
This is how “Sol”, “So” becomes “So”, and “Si” is added to the original “John” (Iohannes).
It’s not that seven-note scale (or octave if you loop back to root) were invented at the time. It was the solfeggio notation that was invented. It is not surprising that historians at the time realized that this system was in use in ancient India, and the Levant, and they adapted it. This is why it’s a conspiracy. There is no conspiracy without a motive…
Motive to Hide 528Hz & Other Healing Frequencies
We are now past the backstory. Now you know the official historical version. A few influential people had different preferences, and boom, the switch was made. Many people don’t believe it. So, why all the revisionist agenda and games?
Researchers and conspiracy theorists believe that discrediting Guido of Arezzo’s system and shifting it away from him is a distraction and ultimately a way to make it forget. They claim that double the reason they want to attribute the system to India’s old system of sagrams is to distract from Pythagoras, the true creator.

PYTHAGORAS: THE TRUE DISCOVERER FOR THE 528 HZ FREQUENCY
Everybody knows something about Pythagoras. He was the one who, between 570 and 500 B.C. moved Western civilization thousands upon years into the future. His contributions were in philosophy, mathematics, religion and mysticism.
Legend has made him even more famous for his ability to be literally that good. The last thing that the “elites”, as they call it, want is for the truth of the solfeggio frequency to be attached to Pythagoras. If we do, then it might become serious.
We would spend the whole day explaining how the new agers have been connecting the dots with this whole solfeggio thing. These analogies can be made to the Freudian defense mechanisms and the Hindu chakra system as well as the Devil’s tone from medieval times.
It’s secondary. Pythagoras geometry and wave physics are the real deal.
Pythagoras was the one who figured out how scales work and the math behind dissonance and consonance in chords. All of it is based on the ratios in wavelengths that produce harmonics. This could be the golden ratio, Pi or any other. Pythagoras was playing with sacred geometry, and all the other stuff Socrates or our current physicists would have been playing with long before they were even alive.
To create the Chladni Patterns, scientists have experimented with sound vibrations. They moved them from two-dimensional strings onto three dimensional plates. Here is an example of patterns that can be created by vibrating a plate coated with powder:
You can watch actual videos on YouTube to see how it works. All of this was happening, and everyone is now saying “Okay, so there’s some to all that Pythagoras was referring to.” These vibrations can form structures if they are tuned correctly, but they can also be destroyed if not used with the right notes.
SHIFT CONSPIRACY OF SOLFEGGIO FREQUENCIES
To get to the point, we said all of that. The standard tuning for instruments in Western music is A-440, which is a trend that even some of the Eastern countries are beginning to adopt, especially with their pop music.
This means that the base octave should have the note A tuned to 440 Hz, as this is the universal standard. Thanks to the meeting of Guido with the Pope and Giovanni Battista Doni, this is how it is done now.
It sounds amazing because all intervals can be built to be consonant up to 440 Hz by positioning every note according to Pythagorean math. We can tell when our instruments aren’t tuned correctly and when we’re using a dissonant interval. It’s how we have been brainwashed to hear it.
It functions the same as the original Solfeggio Frequencies except that A was not tuned to 440Hz.
It was 444 Hz.
It is like many conspiracy theories and all arguments on internet, it always returns to the Nazis and/or Illuminati as well as the Rockefellers & Rothschilds. They didn’t create this shift away form A-444 but they did learn all about the subconscious and how propaganda can be used from Sigmund Freud.
They were the ones who pushed for mass adoption. The International Standards Organization made this possible in 1955 when 440 Hz was designated “Concert A”.
It remains to be asked why. As many conspiracy websites have stated:
“This unnatural tuning frequency has taken away the symmetry and sacred vibrations of sacred overtones and has declared war against the subconscious mind of Western Man. “
The idea is that, although A-440 can be used to build a system for consonant sounds, our physical world and bodies are synchronized with A-444. Although the A-440 tuning is slightly off-kilter to our ears is not noticeable to our ears, it can cause havoc in our brains and bodies.
These ideas are supported by Cymatics, which supports structures created at the original solfeggio frequencies rather than the new A-440. Structures formed in standing waves tuned to A440 are less symmetrical and more stable.
The same thing happens to our minds and bodies. This slight discord is induced by the healing properties of the original frequencies.
The idea behind militarizing music is to use it as a psychological or physical attack against the population. Modern music can exacerbate aggression, agitation and illness as well as other problems.
This is the idea. I find it fascinating and amusing to think about. All of this raises the question:
A-440 can be destructive. A-444 can be constructive and conducive. But, what is it conducive to?
The Healing Benefits Of the Original A-444 (528Hz) Tuning
You’ll be lost among a multitude of references and concepts if you try to figure out the reason behind it all. It almost requires a Ph.D. in New Age philosophy. Numerology, Nikolai Tesla and Theosophy are all mentioned.
This all boils down into the idea that these vibrations are part of the universe in a way similar to other laws of physics. The nice, evenly rounded numbers attached at the original frequencies are more convincing than the current notes.
Solfeggio Freq. vs 12-TET A4=440Hz
UT – 396 Hz vs DO – 523.251 Hz – (C5)
RE – 417 Hz vs RE – 587.330 Hz – (D5)
MI – 528 Hz vs MI – 659.255 Hz – (E5)
FA – 639 Hz vs FA – 698.456 Hz – (F5)
SOL – 741 Hz vs SO – 783.991 Hz – (G5)
LA – 852 Hz vs LA – 880.000 Hz – (A5)
I don’t have the time or energy to use a calculator to verify any of this. Personally, I am skeptical. When they have a claim to support it, people like to distort numbers. They may have rounded certain numbers but not others, I’m sure.
It doesn’t matter what, it’s interesting if the conspiracy is true. The universe loves simplicity and symmetry, as we know. These are some examples of self-referential reasoning that is not very scientific.
“When we examine the six Solfeggio frequencies using the Pythagorean Method, we discover that the base or root vibrational numbers of the Solfeggio frequencies are 3, 6 and 9. Nikola Tesla says, I quote: “If only you knew the magnificence and the 6, 9 and 9, then you’d have the key to the universe.” “
You can increase the scale by increasing the frequency range, but the properties are the same regardless of whether you use different octaves. These are the healing properties:
- Ut 396 Hz Turning grief into joy, liberating guilt or fear
- Re – 417 Hz
- Mi- 528 HZ – Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair)
- Fa – 639 Hz Reconnecting and Balancing Relationships
- Sol – 741 Hz – solving problems, expressions/solutions
- La 852 Hz: Awakening intuition, Return to Spiritual Order
You can also buy a set of tuning forks to use with these frequencies (or each one individually): Omnivos Therapeutics Solfeggio Tuning Forks
As you can see, we fall into New Age stuff. I don’t believe in it, but I can accept that my sense of smell may not be sufficient to spot these things. However, no single frequency can repair our DNA. This is a huge misunderstanding and simplification about how DNA works. We are now in the realms of magic and fantasy.
It’s still cool. Instead of using tuning forks you can jam out to the album, where each track is tuned at a different frequency. This could be a great way to meditate. Click on the album cover to hear the tracks. Source Vibrations’ Solfeggio Harmonics
This is the Solfeggio Frequencies and 528 Hz…
Even if you don’t believe it, the journey to get there is quite interesting. Even if they draw the wrong conclusions, it’s possible that the conspiracy group could be right. It’s impossible to know what the future holds, which is why it’s so fascinating to consider.
Music nerds rarely get to experience a conspiracy that challenges the fundamentals of our profession. It was as much fun for me to learn about it. You might also like to learn about the UFO-seekers, Carlos Santana, Metatron and other satanic songs, backmasking.
